🎓 Online Course • Lifetime Access • Learn at Your Own Pace

Take the guesswork out of dysautonomia. This comprehensive education course is designed for both patients and healthcare providers seeking a deeper understanding of POTS, MCAS, hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), and related conditions.

Featuring 30+ in-depth educational modules, this course covers everything from the autonomic nervous system and dysautonomia basics to diagnosis, treatment approaches, medications, lifestyle interventions, exercise, accommodations, self-advocacy, and navigating daily life with chronic illness. Each section is broken down into clear, practical lessons that make complex medical topics easier to understand and apply.

You'll also gain access to trusted resources, provider directories, recommended products, scientific references, and citations throughout the course, allowing you to explore topics further and stay informed with evidence-based information.

Created by a Nurse Practitioner with both professional expertise and personal experience living with POTS, this course is designed to empower patients, support caregivers, and provide healthcare professionals with a deeper understanding of these often misunderstood conditions. Learn at your own pace and build the knowledge and confidence needed to better understand, support, and manage dysautonomia and its related disorders.

At Galene Health, we specialize in compassionate, individualized care for patients with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and other dysautonomia. Our name, Galene, comes from the Greek word for calm and serenity, and from the Greek goddess who personifies peaceful waters.

Just as Galene represents the stillness after a storm, our mission is to help patients regain equilibrium and ease in their daily lives. Living with dysautonomia can feel overwhelming, but we are here to guide you through it with expert clinical care, holistic treatment strategies, and a deep understanding of what it means to live with dysautonomia.

About

My name is Kate Bachenberg, DNP

After being diagnosed with POTS in my early twenties after being dismissed for years by our healthcare system, I returned to nursing school and ultimately earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice. My mission is simple: to help patients feel seen, heard, and empowered. I believe healing begins with trust and that balance and calm are possible.

When I am not at the clinic, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, biking, sailing, crabbing in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and new baby girl, Parker!
